I loved how this book was written and the way it kept you engaged right up to the end. Literally the twist and turns will be having you guess who the killer is and still find out it not them.
Would recommend this book, definitely going to be reading more of her books.

It was a well written, good book with an average twist, I enjoyed it, but I didn’t have me desperate to finish it like I usually am with Feeney’s work.

Maybe it’s my like for crime stories, but I couldn’t put this book down! The tension kept growing and pulling me in. I’d definitely recommend this book.

I LOVED this, it’s the first book in a long time (having 2 kids under 3) that I absolutely devoured. Every free second I had I just gobbled it up and was finished within a few days.
This was so exciting, gripping, fast-paced and even when I thought I had guessed the twist I still wanted to keep going because the story line itself so was good. But I had in fact guessed incorrectly (I’ve read lots of thrillers and don’t do that often anymore,) and there were not one but TWO massive spoilers I hadn’t seen coming.
Absolutely loved it. A must read and really hope the tv series lives up to it.

I can understand all the good reviews it was a good read no question. I wanted to know about the past and how the story was going to unfold in the present BUT the ending and the reveal of the killer was beyond preposterous. Vital details were simply glossed over with lines which had you questioning the how, the when, etc.
And another annoying thing, I don't need to be told when to emphasise a word when I'm reading so don't put hundreds of words in italics, good writers don't rely on amateurish tricks.

On the day of this release I met your mother in law in Sainsbury’s, she was buying the book for her friends so I thought I’d would give it a read after talking to her about your work.
Well, I couldn’t put it down and I enjoyed it so much I have now just finished reading all your books.
Alice, you get us hooked right at the start and the twists are what makes your books simply brilliant.

This book is brilliant. Really enjoyed it. For me to read a book I need to be able to get into it within the first few pages and I did. Finished it in 4 days. Keeps you guessing all the way through, loved the twists and it was confusing at the same time which is just what you need. Definitely recommend!

It’s very annoying to have read a book all the way through, only to discover the person who did it, to be utterly and completely implausible. Really, we’re supposed to swallow that! A cheap and lazy means to an end.

I LOVED this book! Every time I thought I knew what the ending would be it would switch and have me second guessing myself! Even after I thought I knew what the ending would be I was wrong! And so very wrong at that!

This is one of the best thrillers I’ve ever read. From the second I started reading it, I couldn’t put it down and spent the entire day reading it one sitting.
I don’t even know what to say about the ending... there were so many in-your-face clues throughout the book and yet there was no way that I would have ever guessed the ending.
